Dérive is driven by the motivation to bring air into complex transition questions. Founded by Hedwig van der Linden and Kevin Westerveld, and based in Brussels and Rotterdam, they work with a small team on projects that combine conceptual thinking with co-creative practice. Dérive seeks synergy between reflection and action by creating space for dialogue and local coalitions, always consciously building on the qualities and potential of existing habitats. Within a research-driven practice, they explore the full spectrum of the architectural discipline. This results in cultural products, strategic research by design, landscape art, spatial installations, curation and scenography.
